Abstract

A new therapeutic approach, RGTA®, mimetics of heparan sulfates, protects and restores a tissular microenvironment similar to the healthy tissues. The anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties allow for the first time a powerful and controled healing for injured tissues after periodontitis without surgical approach and without additional biomaterial.

The gingival extracellular matrix disorganized by inflammation is restored, the alveolar bone is rebuilt and the root cementum is thickened with proliferating cells in the periodontal ligament.
